Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton somehow found a way to make the horrific sexual harassment and assault allegations against NBC’s Matt Lauer about her, in a book tour stop in Philadelphia on Thursday, according to Stephen Silver of PhillyVoice.
Asked on stage about her experiences during the 2016 campaign and her thoughts on current events by author Jennifer Weiner, Clinton inserted herself into the recent headlines about Lauer:
“Every day I believe more in karma,” Clinton said to that, referring further to several “men who shaped the narrative” during the campaign who have since been sidelined in the wave of sexual harassment scandals.
