On Saturday, during the Global Citizen Festival in New York City, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), announced that Trump’s “damned wall” will not represent the United States:
“We welcome the world’s tired and poor and huddled masses to our shores,” Schumer said, wearing some sort of retro-futuristic retirement home garb. He later added, “We are going to continue to have the Statue of Liberty be our symbol, not that damned wall!”
