In an attempt to maintain its edge over the enemy, the U.S. Army is testing futuristic exoskeleton technology that would give soldiers seemingly superhuman capabilities.
The technology involves an exoskeleton device worn on the knee that uses artificial intelligence to provide more torque power and versatility to soldiers.
Industry officials said the suits also enable soldiers to carry heavier loads, according to Scout.
Initial testing reportedly showed that the exoskeleton technology increased productivity between two and 27 times.
