Dopey Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake spent much of Tuesday touting his proposal of a gun bill to prohibit the purchase of firearms for anyone convicted of domestic abuse.
The trouble is that very same bill was passed into federal law in 1996 under the direction of late Democratic Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey.
Perhaps what we really need to protect America is a law stopping Arizonans from voting flaming idiots into the United States Senate. With Flake flanked by John McCain, perhaps it’s time to test the drinking water in Arizona for brain-eroding toxins.
Flake took to Twitter to trumpet his legislative brainchild, which is actually almost older that he is, and then this happened:
