President Trump lauded himself for his “well-crafted” tweets despite the negative press he often gets for spelling errors, deleted tweets, and controversial messages.
During an interview with Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo that will air Sunday, Trump was asked if some of his unscripted tweets “get in the way of the larger message,” citing the frustrations of some of his supporters.
“It is such an interesting question, because I have friends that say, oh, don’t use social media,” Trump replied. “See I don’t call it tweets, tweeting is like a typewriter — when I put it out, you put it immediately on your show. I mean the other day, I put something out, two seconds later I am watching your show, it’s up.”
Bartiromo acknowledged that newsrooms have become accustomed to staying tuned into Trump’s Twitter feed.
