A Jewish woman flying to be with her family “gently confronted” a President Donald Trump supporter who was wearing a MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat on an airplane flight recently — and handed him a handwritten note, according to a report in Raw Story.
The woman, sitting a few rows behind the person wearing the hat, identified herself only as “Merissa.”
She wrote that she was traveling to Los Angeles to be with her family in the wake of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting in which 11 Jewish Americans lost their lives last Saturday.
The woman’s friend, public defender Scott Hechinger, posted the note to Twitter on Tuesday.
