Tom Cotton: We’re Not Safer Today than on 9/11

U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who was inspired on 9/11 to join the U.S. Army and serve in Iraq and Afghanistan, tells Breitbart News that he does not think we are safer today than we were in 2001 — thanks to relentless terrorists, and to the Obama administration’s policies.

“I don’t think America is safer today than we were in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks,” Cotton says. “It’s hard to hear the Obama administration account for the dangers that are posed by groups like the Islamic State, or the ongoing efforts by Al Qaeda, given [Obama’s] decision to make a nuclear deal with Iran that gave them billions of dollars to fund their reign of terror. – READ MORE
