New York police have confirmed a group of pedestrians was struck by a livery cab in Lower Manhattan on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place at Broadway and Liberty Streets — close to Zucotti Park — around 1:30 p.m. local time
Police are investigating whether a crash was an incident or premeditated, but toldNBC-New York it appears to have been unintentional after the vehicle hopped the curb.
