Susan Sarandon: ‘I Stand With Colin’ Kaepernick

Susan Sarandon attended a rally Wednesday night in New York City to protest that quarterback Colin Kaepernick was still a free agent.

“Rally in support of Colin Kaepernick in front of @NFL. Together we win. I stand with Colin. #ImWithKap,” the 70-year-old actress tweeted along with a picture of her and others gathered outside of the NFL headquarters.

The Bernie Sanders supporter was later spotted and captured on video at the rally with protestors who carried signs that read,”NFL: Negro Fall In Line,” and “He took a knee for me. I’ll take a stand for him.”

Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem during the football season last year. The former 49ers QB is currently a free agent.
