Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday had tough words for President Trump concerning Trump’s recent visit to China.
“Trump Asia trip a flop: POTUS acts like a lap dog to Xi and China, but talks tough to our friends in Southeast Asia,” Schumer tweeted Sunday morning, referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“Presidency by misadventure.”

He made the remark after Trump last week blamed past administrations, not Beijing, for “unfair” trade practices, offering a starkly different tone from the rhetoric he used during his campaign.
