A Texas man was arrested this weekend after reportedly telling kids outside a church that Santa Claus is not real.

Aaron Urbanski, 31, was charged Saturday with criminal trespassing after a complaint that he and two others were demonstrating outside a church in Cleburne, according to The Associated Press.

The United Methodist Church of Cleburne was holding a “breakfast with Santa” event for families, according to the AP.

Police said that Urbanski refused to leave and “continued to cause a disturbance,” when he was arrested. Parents told a local NBC affiliate that the protesters were shouting that Santa isn’t real.

They reportedly accosted parents and children with the question: “Do you let your kids believe in a fake Santa or do they know who Jesus is?”

Scott Cain, mayor of Cleburne, posted about the incident on Facebook, writing: “Don’t Mess With Santa!” – READ MORE
