More than 10,000 text messages between two senior FBI officials reveal numerous disparaging comments about President Donald Trump from the 2016 campaign season, including one saying that Trump can go “F*** himself.”
Peter Strzok, a former top counterintelligence agent at the FBI, was fired over the summer from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election for sending text messagesmocking Trump to Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer with whom he was reportedly having an affair.
According to Zero Hedge, the text messages were handed over to Congress on Tuesday, but leaked to the media.
Many of the text messages between Strzok and Page reveal a deep hatred for Trump, where in one text message exchange sent on March 4, 2016, Page texted Strzok: “God, Trump is a loathsome human.”
