Three-quarters of Americans felt “positive” about Donald Trump’s nomination speech – in which he declared to be the voice of disaffected Americans and who can alone fix the country’s myriad ills, according to a snap poll.
The CNN/ORC poll, carried out just after The Donald accepted the GOP’s nomination for president, also found that 57 percent felt “very positive” and 18 percent were “somewhat positive.”
Meanwhile, 24 percent said the 75-minute address had a “negative effect.”
“Mark my words,” Republican pollster Frank Luntz tweeted. “This speech will put Trump even or ahead of Hillary in polls by Monday, when the Democratic convention begins.” – READ MORE
