A number of leftist organizations say they’re marching to the United States-Mexico border to protest the United States Customs and Border Patrol’s efforts to repel a “migrant caravan” that has been threatening to storm and overrun the border between San Diego and Tijuana.
Groups like “Free Our Future” began marching in California on Sunday, demanding an end to border control, totally open borders, and for the United States government to abolish the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency. Marchers carrying signs apparently printed by International ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), a known Communist action coalition, and wearing Che Guevara tee shirts, chanted against U.S. immigration policy.

The group Mijente, which organizes “Free Our Future,” has been a staple of pro-immigration protests since the beginning of 2018, and launched their own initiative to both tarnish and “abolish” ICE. They were joined at Sunday’s march by the National Immigrant Justice Center, which has been at the forefront of challenging Trump Administration policies on detaining asylum seeking families together until they can be processed. – READ MORE
