Despite final polls showing Democratic Sen. Jon Tester leading Republican Matt Rosendale, Republicans in Montana who spoke to Newsmax still voiced confidence they could make Rosendale only the fourth Republican U.S. Senator in their state’s history.
A Harris Interactive poll completed November 4 showed two-termer Tester leading State Auditor Rosendale by 49 to 43 percent. Five days before, a Gravis Poll gave Tester the lead over Rosendale by 48 to 45 percent.
“Vice President Pence is now at a local airport with [Republican Sens.] Lindsay Graham [S.C.] and Cory Gardiner [Colo.],” former Secretary of State Bob Brown told Newsmax on Monday afternoon,
