Legendary singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett made few digs at President Trump and other Republicans while hosting a concert in support of Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum on Saturday.
During his performance, Buffett made tweaks to two of his most popular songs to criticize Trump and Republican Gov. Rick Scott (Fla.), according to The Associated Press.
While performing “Come Monday”, the singer reportedly took aim at Trump by changing the wording in his song to “Come Tuesday, things will change. Come Tuesday, we’re making a change. It’s been two insane years and it’s time to really switch gears…”
Buffet then shifted his focus to Scott and environmental issues in the state while performing “Margaritaville,” reportedly singing: Some people say there’s a red tide to blame, but I know, that it’s all Rick Scott’s fault.” – READ MORE
