If you didn’t think things could get worse with the problem of immigration, think again. A new Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report revealed that thousands of green cards have been misplaced or simply lost over the past three years.
An internal audit of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services revealed alarming statistics that prompted DHS Inspector General John Roth to urge better safeguards to avoid any potentially dangerous situations.
The report indicated that electronic system errors had been blamed for some 19,000 cards being issued as duplicates or with incorrect information. This incorrect information could include wrong names, dates of birth, photos and gender, the report said. – READ MORE
