Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly scheduled an interview with White House communications director Hope Hicks.
Hicks, a longtime Trump aide, will talk to Mueller’s team in mid-November, Politico reported Tuesday, citing multiple people familiar with the schedule.
An administration official told Politico Mueller’s team could speak with multiple White House officials as early as this week.
“Nothing about recent events alters the White House’s commitment to fully cooperate with the office of the special counsel,” White House lawyer Ty Cobb said Tuesday in an interview with Politico.
