Texas congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw (R) on Sunday hit back at “Saturday Night Live” after cast member Pete Davidson mocked Crenshaw over the eye patch he wears because he lost his eye in combat.
Crenshaw called on “SNL” in a tweet to recognize “that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines.”
Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended. That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes.

Davidson has faced criticism on Sunday for the remarks he made about Crenshaw during the Saturday night show’s “Weekend Update” segment.
“This guy is kind of cool, Dan Crenshaw,” Davidson said as a photo of Crenshaw was displayed. “You may be surprised to hear he’s a congressional candidate for Texas and not a hit-man in a porno movie.” – READ MORE
