The Environmental Protection Agency said Friday it no longer will sponsor an awards program to recognize leaders in addressing climate change.
The EPA posted on its website a notice that it has discontinued its sponsorship of the Climate Leadership Awards, sponsored by two environmental organizations.
“The agency has decided to discontinue the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s involvement with the 2018 Climate Leadership Awards program,” the post reads.
