Democratic Congressman Tweets and Deletes After Going Low With Uncalled-for Shot at Trump’s Marriage

A Democratic congressman has deleted an uncalled-for tweet he sent out on Friday that took a cheap shot at President Donald Trump’s marriage with first lady Melania Trump, but it didn’t go unnoticed.

Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) tweeted out a criticism of the president’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, but he took things to another level when he decided to use the opportunity to slip in a diss at the first family.

“I opposed sending troops to Syria,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to the Daily Caller. “I also oppose throwing allies under a bus. We told Kurds if they joined this dangerous fight we’d have their backs. Trump just abandoned them after a call w/Erdogan.”

Huffman then launched an unnecessary attack on POTUS and FLOTUS at the end of his message: “He’s as disloyal to allies as he is to Melania. Devastating to US credibility.”- READ MORE
