Comey Claims ‘No Serious Person’ Would Make a Case Against Hillary — Says Case is Closed

During his testimony to Congress on Friday, former FBI Director James Comey seemed frustrated that Hillary Clinton’s email scandal was brought up during questioning.

During the questioning, according to Mediaite, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) asked Comey if there was any possibility that the emails should be investigated further.

“Not that I can possibly see,” Comey said.

When Lee asked if the case is completely closed, Comey claimed that there was no way anything could happen with the current evidence.

“Yes. There’s no serious person who thinks there’s a prosecutable case there,” Comey said.
