CNN gave 27 times coverage to their botched story about Donald Trump Jr. than they gave to their eventual correction.

On Friday, CNN made a major reporting error when they claimed that Trump Jr. received an email on September 4, 2016 giving him encrypted access to Democratic documents stolen by Wikileaks.

CNN finally corrected the story just before 4 pm on Friday, but overall they covered the story itself 27 times more than the correction, according to the Republican National Committee. On Friday, when the whole debacle occurred, CNN covered the retraction just one time.
