An Allentown man stole approximately 160 bundles of newspapers from The Morning Call earlier this month, according Upper Macungie Township Police.
Dion Scheirer, 25, intended to re-sell the newspapers on the “black market” and provided the newspapers to a third party who sells coupons in bulk in and around the region, police said.
The Morning Call lost $965 in revenue as a result of the theft, according to police. Police did not identify to whom Scheirer allegedly tried to sell the papers. – READ MORE
