During Friday’s segment of “Morning Joe,” MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch stated a source close to Biden said if the former vice president is healthy, he’ll be running in 2020, per Mediaite.
And Deutsch couldn’t have made it any clearer, stating:
“I spoke to someone close to Biden, [who] said if he’s healthy, he’s going for it in 2020.”
While Biden has yet to personally announce his presidential candidacy, there has been speculation he’s not down for the count. During an interview this week with Oprah Winfrey, he said he regretted not running in 2016:
