In a speech before the General Assembly on Thursday, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley excoriated the Obama administration over its “casual cruelty” toward the Cuban people.
She also made it clear that despite last year’s abstention (the first in 25 years), the U.S. would be voting against the resolution described by the U.N. as “calling for an end to the United States-led economic, commercial and financial embargo on Cuba.
