Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo insulted a female reporter on Wednesday who asked him about sexual harassment allegations that were made against one of his top aides. By asking about the alleged misconduct of his aide, Cuomo told the reporter, she was doing a “disservice to women.”
Reporter Karen DeWitt asked Cuomo during a press conference about former aide Sam Hoyt, who is accused of sexual harassment and paying hush money to a woman that he had a sexual relationship with at work, the WFB reported.
“You did have [sexual misconduct] going on within your own administration allegedly, with Sam Hoyt,” Dewitt said. “What could you do differently to kind of pick up on that?”
