Donald Trump called for the restoration of law, order, and justice in the United States to combat Hillary Clinton’s “corruption” and uphold the foundations that once made this country great during a rally Wednesday in Miami, Florida.
The GOP nominee noted the “terrible tragedy” that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning when two Iowa police officers were gunned down in cold blood while sitting in their squad cars. Following on the heels of a brutal summer for law enforcement officers, Trump sent his thoughts and prayers to the families of the “outstanding” officers.
“An attack on our police is an attack on all of us. Law enforcement is the line separating civilization from total chaos. You have to remember that,” Trump said before reciting statistics from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund revealing that firearm-related police deaths are up 48 percent this year. – READ MORE
