President Trump has told his advisers to start preparing to withdraw from the free trade agreement the U.S. has with South Korea, according to a report.
The administration is said to be far along in terminating the deal, with the formal withdrawal process expected to begin soon, the Washington Post reported Saturday.
The Post noted that some senior White House officials are trying to keep Trump from withdrawing the deal, including Defense Secretary James Mattis, National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.
