MANHEIM, Pa. – Donald Trump delivered a carefully-tailored pitch to Bernie Sanders supporters on Saturday, hours after newly-leaked audio showed Hillary Clinton giving a frank take on backers of her former primary opponent.
“A new audio tape that has surfaced… from another one of Hillary’s high-roller fundraisers show her demeaning and mocking Bernie Sanders and all of his supporters,” Trump told thousands of his supporters gathered for a rainy rally in Pennsylvania’s Amish country.
In an audio conversation released Saturday, Clinton can be heard telling donors at February fundraiser that supporters of Sanders are “children of the Great Recession” who “live in their parents’ basements.” – READ MORE
