Shaun Weiss, who famously starred in “The Mighty Ducks” as goalie Greg Goldberg, has been arrested and charged on suspicion of meth possession.

The 38-year-old actor was detained on August 2 in possession of a substance which authorities presumed to be a methamphetamine, E! News reports. He is now being held on $10,000 bond and is expected to appear in court sometime on Tuesday.

“The Mighty Ducks” star’s arrest comes just five days after he was released from a jail sentence resulting from a previous arrest for petty theft, according to TMZ.

Weiss’s most recent arrest occurred on the afternoon of August 2 after he was spotted wandering around an apartment building property nearby the Warner Bros. studio in Los Angeles. When the police arrived they found the actor in possession of a controlled substance and several credit cards in someone else’s name, E! News reports.

The property where he was found belonged to a friend who did not press charges, but Weiss was arrested and booked into the Burbank City jail on a misdemeanor for drug possession.

A representative for Weiss said he “is asking for prayers from his fans that he can find the light.”
