Hillary Clinton’s campaign said Saturday that it will take part in a vote recount in Wisconsin initiated by Jill Stein.
Stein, the Green Party’s presidential nominee, has so far raised millions of dollars to fund the recount effort.
In a post on Medium, Marc Elias, the Clinton campaign’s counsel, said that the while the campaign has been actively investigating the election results with a slew of lawyers and data scientists, it hasn’t found any “actionable evidence” of hacking or “attempts to alter the voting technology.”
“We had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides,” Elias wrote. – READ MORE
