After 17 people were tragically killed in Florida during a school shooting, the topic of gun control has been dominating headlines. Many have pointed the finger at the NRA, claiming that they are partly responsible for the deaths, and Michael Moore has even compared the NRA to ISIS.
However, as the investigation into the shooting has progressed, more and more information has emerged indicating that law enforcement may have had numerous warning signs ahead of the tragedy.
According to a new report, police responded to 45 calls to the house of the suspected shooter and the FBI also received two tips on the alleged killer. The school resource officer on campus also never went in the building while the shooting was happening. Instead, Scot Peterson posted up outside the building for “upward of 4 minutes.”
Despite all of this, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel has defended his leadership and ignored calls for him to resign. – READ MORE
