Project Veritas James O’Keefe says media out ‘not for truth but for revenge’ on Trump

The mainstream media, led by the Washington Post, New York Times, and CNN, are out for revenge against President Trump for labeling them “fake news” and using social media to get around them, according to an explosive forthcoming book by muckraker James O’Keefe.

In “American Pravda,” due out Tuesday, the head of Project Veritas writes that Trump and his White House have gotten under the skin of the mainstream media so much that they’ve given up fair and unbiased coverage and turned to mockery.

“The major media have entered an unprecedented new phase,” he wrote in the book. “Their corporate survival model now demands that they feed a beast increasingly hungry not for truth but for revenge.”

Publisher All Points Books, part of St. Martin’s Press, provided a pre-release copy to Secrets.

O’Keefe’s Project Veritas videos have rocked the media and politics for years. For example, he revealed rampant election rigging by Democrats during the 2016 election and quoted major media insiders on their hate for Trump. – READ MORE

Project Veritas has released undercover footage of Twitter Engineers and employees admitting that Twitter employees view”everything you post” on their servers, including private “sex messages,” and “d*ck pics.” The engineers also admit that Twitter analyzes this information to create a “virtual profile” of you which they sell to advertisers.

Twitter issued a statement on Friday explaining why it isn’t banning President Donald Trump after he boasted about his “nuclear button,” but did so without ever using the president’s name.

“Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial tweets would hide important information people should be able to see and debate,” Twitter said in a blog post. “It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions.”

Trump’s tweet on Jan. 2, responding to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s statement about having a nuclear button on his desk, has caused some to question whether the president may have violated Twitter’s terms of service by threatening to use the United States’ nuclear weapons on North Korea. – READ MORE
