Police: Six Civilians, Three Attackers Dead In London Terror Attacks
London Metropolitan Police said Sunday morning that six civilians were killed in the London terror attacks, adding that police shot three of the male suspects dead.
The white van plowing into pedestrians on the London Bridge and the stabbings at Borough Market on Saturday evening resulted in the deaths of six civilians, along with three male suspects involved in the terror attacks, BBC reports.
According to the Associated Press, police believe they have killed all the bridge terrorists, who were confronted and shot within eight minutes of the first call about the attacks. The suspects were wearing what appeared to be explosive vests, but those vests turned out to be fake.
While stabbing civilians, the men shouted: “This is for Allah.”
