On Pearl Harbor Anniversary, French Ambassador Criticizes U.S. for Not Entering WWII Earlier

In a strange diplomatic move on Pearl Harbor Day, France’s Ambassador to the United States, Gerard Araud, criticized America for its refusal to enter World War II earlier.

“In this Pearl Harbor day, we should remember that the US refused to side with France and UK to confront the fascist powers in the 30s,” Araud tweeted late on Thursday.
