The Senate race in New Jersey will either be a Democratic blowout or a Trump-like upset that defies mainstream polling. There is just no in-between at this stage in the game.According to The Washington Free Beacon, Bob Hugin, the GOP candidate out to unseat Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), has boldly predicted he will prove himself victorious on Tuesday night based on internal polling that gives him a slight lead over the incumbent. Hugin’s polling wildly contrasts with other polls that show him down as far as 15 points.

Speaking with the Free Beacon at a rally over the weekend, Hugin said that internal polling puts him up “a couple of points” over Menendez while expressing confidence in victory. “I feel good,” Hugin said, “but you can’t take anything for granted.”

Hugin also assured a crowd of supporters on Saturday night that Tuesday will be a day of victory.

“We’re a couple of days away from victory,” Hugin proclaimed at the rally. “The people of New Jersey deserve better because this guy has embarrassed us. Twenty-five years, and he’s failed us ethically and failed the people of New Jersey.”- READ MORE
