Unborn babies are “yesterday’s blacks” and the pro-life movement is today’s new civil rights movement, Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece Alveda King declared on Saturday.
“I see absolutely no difference between the denial of rights to people because of their skin colour and the denial of rights to people because of their age or condition of dependency,” King, 66, during remarks in Westminster, England, on Saturday, according to Christian Today.
Babies are being “womb-lynched” by abortions, she said.
“There is no doubt that the pro-life movement is the civil rights movement of our century because it is the fundamental right of every one of every race to live,” added King, who is an American author. “Of what use are all our other rights if we can simply choose to deny a person the right to be born in the first place?”
