Tuesday night’s verbal undressing of Fox News queen Megyn Kelly was the second time Newt Gingrich treated her like a propeller-hat-wearing law school intern.
No wonder Kelly was out for blood last night during her contentious interview with Gingrich, who again, handled the news anchor like an outclassed public defender.
For Gingrich, it was a repeat performance of a December 2011 Republican primary debate in Sioux City, Iowa. Kelly, the moderator of that debate, tried to unfairly paint Gingrich into a corner but her over-the-top, made-for-TV prosecutorial tact backfired miserably, just as it did Tuesday night.
