METHUEN — A man arrested after he posted a violent, profane Facebook post referencing the Boston Marathon bombing is suing the city in federal court, claiming that his civil rights were violated, reports the Eagle Tribune.

Cameron B. D’Ambrosio, 21, was initially held for 37 days, but then an Essex County grand jury would not indict him on charges of making terrorist threats.

A fellow student to D’Ambrosio saw the post and reported it.

D’Ambrosio’s attorneys assert that the post did not constitute a terrorist threat, as there were no specific targets named.

Attorneys are currently researching the case, but one representing the city said he expects to ask the court to dismiss the case soon. – READ MORE
