Low Energy: Jeb Bush Drops Out Of Another Race
Jeb Bush has pulled his name out of the running for the Miami Marlins.
The former Florida governor and ex-presidential candidate was in the bidding to become one of the next owners of the Miami baseball club, but is no longer interested in pursuing the team, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
Bush was considering teaming up with former New York Yankees star Derek Jeter to make a bid for the team, but has since got cold feet and backed down. Although Bush has dropped out of the race, Jeter is reportedly still considering making a bid with another group of investors, the AP reports.
With Bush bowing out Jeter is now leading an investment group bidding against another led by businessman Tagg Romney, the son of former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Romney’s group also has some baseball types that are looking to get involved in the sport from the ownership side. Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine and former Arizona Diamondbacks general manager Dave Stewart are hoping to own part of the team with Romney.
