The media is focused on the plagiarism of presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s wife, Melania.Monday night, when Melania delivered her speech, conservative media and supporters exploded with praise. But by Tuesday morning, it was revealed that multiple lines toward the end of the potential first lady’s speech bore a striking resemblance to a speech future first lady Michelle Obama gave in 2008.Even worse, they were lines about character and hard work, supposedly heartfelt lessons taken from her childhood.The Washington Post’s Phillip Bump has a side-by-side video comparison of the lifted passages.
