A Huffington Post reporter tweeted and then quickly deleted a quip that involved the death of Arizona Sen. John McCain, who is suffering from a terminal form of brain cancer.
“[C]ongratulations to john mccain’s wife and children on their upcoming tax-free inheritance,” Ms. Feinberg tweeted Thursday morning in reply to a tweet from Mr. McCain’s official account wherein he announced his support for the Senate GOP’s tax-reform plan.
Her tweet was sent in reply to a message posted from Mr. McCain minutes earlier, reading, “After careful consideration, I have decided to support the Senate #TaxReform bill. Though not perfect, this bill will deliver much-needed reform to our tax code, grow the economy & provide long overdue tax relief for American families.
