Harvey Weinstein is suing the company he helped build in order to gain access to records that he needs to defend himself against his accusers.
The disgraced Hollywood executive, who was initially fired and later resigned from The Weinstein Company, filed a lawsuit in Delaware against the company on Thursday, Variety reports.
Weinstein is hoping to gain access to his personnel file and his email account through the suit, claiming that the company has denied his attorney’s initial requests for the documents.
