Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is calling out Chief Justice John Roberts for his recent comments he made toward President Donal Trump.
President Trump has been openly critical about the court system and federal judges. Roberts, a conservative judge appointed by former President George W. Bush, released a statement condemning the president’s rhetoric as of late.
“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges,” said Roberts.
However, Grassley did not agree with the judge and pointed out the lack of opposition to former President Obama:
Chief Justice Roberts rebuked Trump for a comment he made abt judge’s decision on asylum I don’t recall the Chief attacking Obama when that Prez rebuked Alito during a State of the Union
