GQ magazine had to correct an online article Thursday that complained after President Trump didn’t seek the death penalty for the Las Vegas shooter, but demanded the death penalty for the Manhattan terrorist who killed 8 people this week.
The Las Vegas shooter was killed at the scene, a fact GQ acknowledged soon after the article ran.
“An earlier version of this article used a headline noting that Trump had publicly called for the death penalty in the New York attack, but not the Las Vegas shooting in particular,” read the correction, which was attached to a piece by Jay Willis. “That discrepancy is probably related to the fact that the Las Vegas shooter is dead. We regret the error.”[contentcards url=”http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/gq-corrects-story-after-asking-why-trump-didnt-seek-death-penalty-for-deceased-las-vegas-shooter/article/2639462″ target=”_blank”]
