On Tuesday, Glamour magazine made an announcement that raised a few eyebrows. The magazine had selected Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) as one of its “Women of the Year.” Waters was also selected for Glamour’s “Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Waters, who has been calling for President Donald Trump’s impeachment — practically since his inauguration — was lauded for her willingness to speak “truth to power.”
