Gary Cohn said Friday that he and President Trump enjoy a healthy relationship, despite the general notion that the two are at odds.
“We have a very good relationship,” the National Economic Council director said outside the White House in an interview with CNBC.
Amid reports that Cohn has questioned his role with the administration, even going as far as to draft a resignation letter following Trump’s controversial remarks on white supremacists after the violence in Charlottesville, Cohn said in a separate interview on Bloomberg that he intended to remain at the White House.
