(June 15, 2016) It’s become an eventful week in Pittsburgh — a Stanley Cup parade, the U.S. Open, visits by two presumptive presidential nominees and, of course, Steelers minicamp.
It became an even more notable time for Mike Tomlin when Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee for president, visited his home for a luncheon fundraiser Tuesday after her appearance on the South Side.
Tomlin became the second member of the Steelers to become linked to presidential candidates recently. On Saturday, Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, told a crowd at Pittsburgh International Airport that Ben Roethlisberger is “with us 100 percent,” and he wanted the Steelers quarterback to speak for him at the Republican National Convention. – READ MORE
