Dems To Hillary: Get Lost

If you think you’re sick of Hillary Clinton, imagine how the Democrats must feel. They actually want to win another election in the 21st Century, and this crabby old battleaxe keeps hobbling around and blaming everybody else for her own failures. Why should her erstwhile codependents keep putting up with it? What’s in it for them?

Amie Parnes, The Hill:

Democrats say they’d like Hillary Clinton to take a cue from former President Obama and step out of the spotlight…

They said they understood the need for Clinton to explain what happened in the election, and many also empathized with Clinton’s anger over former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of a probe into her private email server.

But they also unanimously said Clinton needs to rethink her public blaming tour. “Good God, what is she doing?” one longtime aide wondered after watching Clinton at the Recode conference in California on Wednesday.

That one’s easy: She’s being Hillary Clinton. Her behavior after the election is exactly the same as her behavior before the election. She has learned nothing. Why should she? None of the people around her have.

Not that these whiny, anonymous Democrats have learned anything either. They actually think Obama has “stepped out of the spotlight,” when he’s giving $400,000 speeches and tweeting stuff like this to his nearly 90 million Twitter followers:

This dude brings his own spotlight wherever he goes. He’s never going away either. Sure, he’s more palatable than Hillary — who isn’t? — but he can’t run for president again. Any dreams the Dems had about repealing the 22nd Amendment died a horrible death on Nov. 8. So he’s not helping them either.

I really don’t like Hillary Clinton, and her defeat is one of the few things that’s still capable of making me happy in 2017. Listening to her awful voice as she spews pathetic excuses just reminds me, and everyone else, why she lost. I want her defeat to continue as long as she wants to drag it out. Clearly she still has fantasies about running again, and I hope the Democrats don’t listen to the naysayers who want her to hit the bricks.

As always, my philosophy is: Never interrupt your opponent when she’s making a mistake. I don’t like listening to these jerks scolding and hectoring me, but it’s a lot easier to take when they don’t have any power over my life. If they want to keep reminding us why they lost, give ’em the mic. Let ’em talk.
